Sparkz, also known for many years as The Haven, is an inclusive, 21+ night club, and a working free company created in March 2021 with themed rooms, dancing, and bar, in a whimsical, mysterious, and darkly sparkly large mansion just up the hill from the beaches of Mist...We treat others with respect and encourage the same. Rules

1. Guests must be 21+ Sparkz is an adult community to unwind and de-stress. This policy is non-negotiable.

2. Keep it Positive Sparkz is a space to have fun and de-stress, not a place to bring outside drama. That means no rumor-mongering, no airing conflicts in venue channels, and no exclusionary behavior toward newcomers or guests outside the regular crowd.

3. Keep the Atmosphere Apolitical Sparkz is a place to unwind, not to debate. Avoid hot-button topics (politics, religion, current events, conspiracy theories) in venue and Discord channels. The same applies to inflammatory nicknames, profile photos, and emblems. Keep Sparkz chill.

4. Zero Tolerance for Bigotry No homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, ageism, ableism, or any other form of discrimination based on identity. Violations result in immediate removal.

5. No Glorification of Self-Harm The venue is a place for people to enjoy themselves, not a place to romanticize or encourage self-harm in any form. If you or someone you know is struggling, talk to a venue admin, and we will point you to resources. We would rather you reach out than stay quiet.

6. No Spam or Self-Promotion without staff approval. This includes unsolicited DMs to members, Discord or FC invites, and in-game sales pitches (housing, retainers, FC recruitment, etc.). If you have something legitimate to share, ask a venue admin first.

7. Use Spoiler Tags in the Discord server when discussing recent or unfinished game content. Not everyone is at the same point in the story.

8. Respect Boundaries If someone says stop, stop. If a stop is not respected, the venue takes it seriously and so should you. For in-game harassment, use Square Enix's reporting tools and your own blacklist. For Discord or in-club incidents, DM a venue admin. We will act on reports.

9. Honest Reporting Everyone's safety comes first, and honest reporting is how we keep it that way. If you experience or witness something concerning, report it. Knowingly false reports and the spreading of malicious rumors will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from Sparkz and The Haven, with further reports made to Discord and Square Enix as appropriate.

10. Loli/Shota NSFW Policy Strictly prohibited. No ERP, lewd animations, nude mods, or any NSFW conduct involving lalafell, child-like races, or characters of any race styled to appear underage. This applies in the venue, in Discord, and at all venue-affiliated events. The appearance test is what matters: if a character could reasonably be read as a minor, the rule applies regardless of stated age, lore, or backstory. This policy is non-negotiable. Violations result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.

11. Open Unconventional RP including ERP, Gritty, Grimdark, and Noir is welcome when it is consensual and the audience is appropriate. This is a 21+ and NSFW venue. Read the room. No gore, scat, or watersports in say chat. Room 6 is the specialized space for leather kink and explicit open ERP. During club hours, please keep explicit language to a minimum out of respect for others enjoying the space. Save it for the afterparty and spa time or take it to Room 6. If someone says stop, stop. Management reserves the right to ask any guest to stop at any time for any reason, and to remove guests who do not.

12. RPers and Non-RPers welcome Sparkz is a hybrid venue. IC (in-character) and OOC (out-of-character) players are both at home here, at every level of RP skill. RP and regular chat both belong in say chat. When the room gets busy, take group conversations to party chat and one-on-one to tells (private messages).

13. wifi and NSFW Content Our venue is 21+, NSFW, and allows ERP. Due to the nature of wifi, assume simulated nudity and animated adult behavior may be present at any time. If NSFW wifi is not for you, the choice to disable it on your end is yours to make. Please follow common courtesy and respect personal space and consent.

14. Consent in Roleplay Sparkz is an adult venue, and our staff and guests engage in a wide range of RP, from playful banter to explicit content. The rule across all of it: the audience signals first, the staff responds. Staff will not initiate sexual, lewd, or explicit RP without a clear cue from the guest. If a guest indicates a tone they prefer or an interest they want to explore, staff will meet them there. If a guest has not, staff keep the tone playful and ambient. The same rule applies guest-to-guest. If someone says "let's slow down," or "let's keep it lighter," that's a complete sentence and the answer is yes.

The Surface

To anyone who crosses the threshold, Sparkz is a members' lounge with no sign and no schedule. You hear about it from someone who already drinks here. The entrance reads as a shuttered curio shop until the right phrase opens it, and then the floor drops into warmth, low light, and a wall of sound that never quite leaves your chest. The host who meets you at the threshold may be dressed for the evening or wearing nothing but the neon, and either way they will act as though it is the most ordinary thing in the world, because here it is.

The room is dark by design. Neon runs the edges of everything in cold violets and bruised pinks, the kind of light that flatters and conceals in equal measure. A slow fog pools in the corners and never burns off, because the haze is part of the service. The bar is long and ringed in neon, its back wall a working showcase of exotic drink-craft, coils and glass and apparatus that hiss, smoke, and pour things no honest tavern would recognize. Near it the mechanical behemoth bucks and turns, and a guest who climbs on rides against a death roll. Stay above the fall and the gil is theirs. Hit the bottom and the beast throws them clear to a roar from the rail and an empty hand. A host runs it like a barker, setting the stakes, baiting the nerve, and reading every face that steps up to ride.

The floor opens out from there. Hot tubs steam along the edges. A large DJ booth presides over a dance floor that never fully empties. Intimate lounge booths and low tables curl away into shadow for guests who would rather watch than be watched, and broad beds sit further back for those who only want to lie in the sound and the company and let the night happen around them. At the far end of the room a large open shower runs under its own wash of neon, no walls, no apology, as much a part of the show as the dance floor. Music holds the whole place together, and the staff move through it like they own every secret in the building, because they do.

That is the entire story most guests will ever need. It is enough to have a wonderful night and never know there was a second floor to the fiction.

The Secret

Sparkz is a front. The lounge launders attention while the real trade happens in plain sight, one quiet transaction at a time.

The operation moves Cosmic and Alexandrian erotic artifacts. These are not ancient curios. They are adult devices, the kind of indulgent craft that was made too well and then made forbidden. Both lines are contraband for the same root reason: someone decided the world was better off pretending they did not exist. Oh... to the horror of the tightly-laced, silver-tongued paragons, if the secret artifacts were to ever turn up in the light of day...

Alexandrian erotic artifacts come out of the city's electrope program. The research was real and the results were, by every account that survives, extraordinary. They were also so far past what the city would put its name to that the whole branch was struck from development, sealed, and ordered destroyed. Electrope holds a charge that does not fade the way ordinary aether does, so these devices still hum, still warm, still work exactly as intended decades after they were supposed to be gone. The city calls them recovered and schedules them for disposal. They do not all reach disposal. Someone is faster than the manifest.

Cosmic erotic artifacts are the rarer prize and the better story. When the end of days loomed and the moon was being readied as a refuge for the evacuation, the planners thought of everything a frightened people would need to survive a long exile, comfort included. A discreet recreational cache was prepared and sealed on the moon, not to be opened until the evacuation was well underway and the world below was already lost. The evacuation never came. The Final Days were averted before a single soul left for that refuge, so the cache was simply left where it sat, top-secret and untouched, an indulgence stocked for an apocalypse that never arrived. A very small number of pieces have quietly come down from there since. Nobody on the moon will admit the cache exists, which is precisely why it is worth so much down here.
